The number of robberies is falling, but the number of violent muggings on the street increased sharply this year. A significant proportion of perpetrators and victims are teenagers, sometimes as young as 12, De Telegraaf reports based on figures from the police.

    Huh, interesting (and more than a bit worrying) that it’s not happening just over here in Finland too. Crime rates have generally gone down for a while now, but there’s been a huge uptick in particularly brutal violent crimes perpetrated by under 15’s

      We’re seeing similar in Seattle, except the kids doing the burglaries, car jackings, shootings, etc, are often in their later teens.
