They did not imply it. They said that executing POW’s is not genocide but a war crime. Then they provided a good example showing why it is a war crime and not genocide.

They definitely implied it by denying Russian genocide, ignoring relevant historical context, and then drawing a false equivalency on the standard of genocide by saying: “If this is your standard for genocide then you should also be saying Ukraine is committing genocide.”
The example wasn’t very good when surrounded by context. That article is also reports by Russia, unverified by independent sources (read: propaganda). I didn’t imagine anything, I just read it and I am familiar with how these types operate. Same playbook as MAGA.
