I have stumbled on video with Neil Oliver, where he opened theory of Great Sorting. What do you think? Could the whole 4 last years be just something like sorting people on left or right side?
I can’t find any articles on it and am not going to watch a video. The fact that is is Tucker Carlson also detracts from the validity. I will say that you will not find great truth in a YouTube video.

Oof, strange that this site didn’t appear when I searched “great Sorting theory” with quotes. I know the quality of Google has gone downhill, but that’s a miss.
Also, noting that brownstone is rated as having poorly checked facts, leans far right, and libertarian policy before I go in.
Having skimmed the article, I see that the great Sorting theory states that COVID denialists are victims of government trod on by rules intended to keep the hospitals from overflowing.
I see stated in the article that when we make large matters of policy, we should consider our feelings over reason and science, comparing lockdown to the atrocities of Nazi Germany and stalinist Russia.
My reply is that all decisions should be well educated and be both logically reasoned and ethically sound. Telling people that decisions should be made emotionally and that Nazis use reason sounds like emotional manipulation.

Are you mot going to respond the commenters points? He went to the trouble of reading the article, and you’ve complained that you can’t discuss this because people won’t listen to what’s being said. So here’s your chance.
Probalby not, as you can see from first post he doesn’t like video in which the original idea is contained, so discussion about the snippet or extract from it seems not very interesting. The Great Sorting idea was discussed in the video, if he will be able to listen to the people voice for 5 minutes, understand the information and idea, then there will be hope to dicuss it with him. Otherwise the link to article and his comment is enough for normal Internet discussion this days.

Hm, that’s more complex. What he says there is, that during covid you were sorted either on one side or the other. It didn’t have any political meaning.
A lot of Covid policy generally matched other political beliefs, it just happened to be the policy that most affected people at the time.
That’s not very correct, there were also other aspects after covid like the Ukraine War and others. It started with covid but went horizontal through whole society and sorted it on one or other side.
It existed before Covid as well. Someone trying to sell you on the idea that it was Covid that started it is trying to sell you something.
Did you even listened to segment where he speaks about it? It’s hard to dicuss anything this days as the people never know what was said.
