Israel has historically been a top receiver of Canadian arms exports, with CAN$21 million worth of military materiel exported to Israel in 2022, according to Radio Canada, following CAN$26 million in shipments in 2021. That places Israel among the top 10 recipients of Canadian arms exports.
To the best of my knowledge Canada has been a steadfast ally to the Ukrainians. In February they announced additional support in 2024, including just over 3 billion in military and economic assistance among many other smaller initiatives. This story also says Canada is willing to participate in an ammunition bulk-buy being quarterbacked by the Czechs that may see about 800,000 artillery rounds sourced and delivered to Ukraine.
Absolutely and no doubt. Just suggesting a better and more responsible recipient of the additional arms.
We’ll pass your advice on to the top men.
