Great, let’s help Russia with more sanctions for an even better GDP growth

You might have intended it to be funny, but it wasn’t, as it is clear from the downvotes. So instead of trying to convince everybody in multiple desperate comments that they are wrong, maybe just move on.
Exactly. I would be happy to pay for a privacy-focused version of these products, but those doesn’t exist. You can pay facebook to not show you ads, but they never promise to stop harvesting your data, so you would be actually just paying them twice, no thanks, as much as I hate ads.
The EU needs to step up and start regulating data more. Every person should be the legal owner of their data. Meaning not just personal data, but also data synthesized from their behaviour (it is illegal to follow me in a cat during the day and take photos of my activities without my permission, the same should be the case in the digital world). And every person should have a right to sell the rights to collect and use this data, but it shouldn’t be mandatory for the usage of any app. So you could decide to keep your data private, and pay a monthly fee to use apps like navigation, or social media, or you could decide to give access to your data, and use these apps for free.
See? The sanctions are not working! 😎💪
(also, please stop the sanctions 🥺🙏)
Time to use less paper straws, folks #weareinthistogether🌎
The beginning would definitely be the Ukraine invasion, with things like Crimea and Syria pre-heating the oven, like Anschluss and the occupation of Sudetenland did before WW2.
As interesting it is to watch world history unfold, I would very much prefer the “boring” but prosperous times we had in Europe for the decades before - hope to go back to that soon.
Lol, in Europe Saxenda costs around 100 per box. Victoza and other versions for diabetics are even cheaper, as they are subsidized by health insurance (while Saxenda is not).
A Russian civil war is not out of the question.
What many of us don’t know, is that the majority of people sent to the meat grinder in Ukraine is from peripheral regions like Dagestan, and not from central Russia (e.g. Moscow). These are different cultures and ethnicities subjugated by the Russian “empire”. And some of them are sick of being killed for the “emperor”, which can lead to unrest and maybe a civil war, like it did in many similar situations in history.
Noooo, you don’t get it, bro. Just one more lane, please. I promise, it will be better than last time. One more lane, that’s all we need. I’m begging you, please.
I’m on my knees here. One more lane, just one more! This time it will be different, I swear. We won’t have traffic jams, I promise! Just one more lane and we’ll be free.
Come on, man, think of the children. Just one more lane. I’m begging you. For the love of liberty, just one more lane!
Yeah, the soldering is outrageous. I miss the time when Apple was a (more) customer friendly company. I could open my Mac mini 2009 and just add more RAM, which I did.
I work at a big EU company, MS top partner / strategic account etc. We wanted to implement MS Dynamics CRM in one of our newer business lines, we barely got a reply to our official emails.
After some informal discussions, we were told that salespeople are now only incentivized to sell Copilot, so they don’t really bother with the rest.
If MS is overinvesting to ride the AI hype as a middle man, while letting their core business capabilities (Windows and Office) decline, they will be in trouble in the long term.
Boeing turned to shit after acquiring another company (not sure of the name), and it changed the culture and leadership
You pay a monthly fee (lease) that contains a certain number of swaps per month, above which you pay extra. The car is also cheaper this way, as you are not paying the full price of the the battery up front
My colleague has a NIO car like this, he really likes it and uses the battery swap weekly. To my knowledge they have patented the tech.
If I bought an electric car, I would definitely consider NIO, as this option is great for long trips. In EU they have a couple of swap stations in Germany, but it’s still a long way to go in other countries.
The company (NIO) owns them and you are leasing the batteries. The car is cheaper this way, as you don’t buy the battery up front, but pay a monthly fee (~200+ in Germany).
You have a fixed number of swaps per month, above that you have to pay extra.
Source: colleague uses a car like this and explained the details.
Exactly. I’m still on my 11pro for this reason, already had to replace the battery. I got the 15 as a work phone, it feels very large in comparison, I’m not a fan.
Yes, it was exactly that. The guy has a quite a few critical songs towards the regime
Neither do the current governments, hence the rise of far right everywhere (not just Germany).
Left-wing policies would help solve many of these issues, but politicians would rather win the next election, than take a risk and stand for true change - especially if it goes against our billionaire/corporate overlords.
Who should I blame today for our problems, tourists or immigrants?
Choose one (and please ignore the capitalist elite actually causing these problems)
