The real American Dream
Cars didn’t “solve a real problem” at first either.
Combat is fun, but not anything special. I feel like the quests aren’t fun enough to bother dealing with all of the non-fun parts of the game, e.g. travel.
I’m not usually into base/ship building, but I’m glad it is there for those that are into it. I can’t imagine how poorly the game would have been received without it though. Skill tree is bullshit. Can’t modify weapons or armor because I’m not high enough level, even after 40 hours. I can’t modify a damn scope? WTH?
My wife and I were massive fans of D3, so buying D4 was a no-brainer. We liked the campaign, and we (begrudgingly) completed the first season. We didn’t finish the second season, and only played about 2 hours of the third season. Unless they do something drastic in future seasons I don’t see this becoming the hit for us that D3 was. They have time to make it better, but it will probably be shelved for a couple years for us.
Starfield. I love some Bethesda games, and I don’t hate the game, it’s just not worth the price. It would be way more tolerable at $40. I got about 40-45 hours into it, and I don’t know if I’m ever going to complete it. I feel like I’ve seen everything the game offers and there doesn’t seem to be anything new coming along in terms of mechanics or story.
If you spent 80 million making the other movie, I’m not sure if you have to pay taxes on it, or just the 40 million profit. If the latter, than you wouldn’t pay any taxes. Someone come in here and straighten Tiger and I out please!
Weird Al should be all over this.
I think you have to confirm “am I free to go?”, but IANAL.
I don’t know. Depending on where you live, that sounds about on the mark for what you bought. Groceries are getting expensive.
mushrooms and other fungi.
This is the kind of AI-shenanigans I look forward to.
I meant outside the building. No where did I suggest people protest in hiding. Protesting is a right, but maybe not protesting inside the Capital. At least some of the Jan 6th insurrection “protesters” were peaceful, and they were also rightfully arrested and charged.
They could just protest in front of the capital. No need to go inside and disrupt…Whatever the hell they are doing in there right now, but otherwise might be conducting government business.
If people want to protest, it should be outside the capital. Protesting inside the capital does nothing for their cause.
From my understanding, the science for and against this is still being researched. I know it’s not a 1:1 “catch-up” period, but I believe that you can somewhat balance your sleep debt over the course of several days to some effectiveness.
While this sounds scary, I don’t know what I am supposed to do to address the issue. I can’t force myself to sleep an extra 3-4 hours a night. I just wake up and can’t fall back asleep.
Yeah, I believe my wife read an article relating to this. I’m squarely in the short-sleeper side of things.
Some people don’t require the same amount of sleep to function. I sometimes go weeks only sleeping 4-6 hours a night without being too drained, while my wife is exhausted if she gets less than 8 hours of sleep for a single night. Also, some people need a similar sleep schedule nightly while others can be sleep deprived on the weekdays and make up for the deficit on the weekends.
At Uvalde, local law enforcement trained AT THE SCHOOL. It didn’t help at all. And that was for people trained for a shootout. What makes anyone think this is a good idea for regular staff members?
Holy shit. I’m not a gambler, but I wouldn’t bet against someone getting shot unjustifiably in the first year of implementation.
