Isn’t post-quantum cryptography already a thing? Probably not implemented in anything meaningful yet, but still.

Sounds painful with a high possibility of breaking bones then drowning while conscious. I’d recommend an inert gas that’s not CO2 and readily available, like nitrogen or something (CO2 buildup in the blood is what gives the sensation of suffocation). If you’re worried about people finding you and a mess, get an enema and stay a bit dehydrated first, and also ensure your body’s found within the first 2-3 days if possible (the first thing your corpse does is shit itself, and rot sets in pretty quickly).
This of course presumes you’re making the decision to end yourself while of sound mind, not in some panic, feeling trapped or completely hopeless. There’s usually a way out that’s not as permanent and can lead to future positive interactions that make continued living worth the pain. That said, I’ll never judge someone whose pain outweighs their will to live.
You’re talking about Hellenistic Judaism, which was definitely a thing for a century or two leading up to Christianity, and it’s thought to have been subsumed into it. It’s not an unreasonable theory given that Greek mythology was familiar with the concept of demigods.
It’s the commenter’s username.
37 is my favorite, because 3x7x37=777 (three sevens), and I think that’s neat.
How dare you? … Tell me more.
Or if we’re talking Witcher 3, Hearts of Stone or Blood and Wine. Both of those had an amazing amount of content, well worth it.
They all have that same weird mouthfeel after you’re done where you swear part of it is still on the roof of your mouth or between your teeth but you can’t seem to reach it or get rid of it, feels pretty gross.
It’s $193M in stock, which can only be cashed out once Reddit IPOs, thus the drive to do so. Aside from that he gets a “mere” $600k/yr. He can probably borrow against that to a certain point, but I’m not sure a bank would value assets that can’t be liquidated.
Unlikely as it might be, maybe the 10% error rate is from gender queer people that haven’t realized/faced it yet.
But that’s a “no moose with five legs” sign, not a “no giraffes” sign.
It erects so you can keep on erecting, otherwise it stops working properly and eventually shrinks down; sleep is basically maintenance mode for a lot of things, erections are a subroutine of that.
“What do you get if you multiply six by nine?”
"There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened."
If everything but your pupils were invisible, and your pupils were 90% invisible, it’d probably be fine. Most humans can comfortably see with 10% of the light.
It’s been almost a quarter century since the last century. Might as well get used to it.
I don’t care what he thinks, but I care that he has a platform that others in his class listen to and may respect. It’s not a position you hear often from those with a lot of wealth. I’m ok with progress coming from any direction, even if it’s self-serving in some form, and I do think it’s self-serving.
Change my mind.
Sure. Even regularly installing a new OS doesn’t necessarily keep you secure if someone wanted to discreetly install malware on your device. In addition to firmware-level rootkits that re-install themselves on fresh OSs (even platform-agnostic ones), it’s possible that someone might interdict whatever hardware is bought and implant it with additional small hardware that compromises it in some way.
I mean, that seems like the best solution to rejection: cloning the patient’s germ line and chimerically colonizing the replacement.
I hadn’t heard about that, what a shame.
Roger Stone’s tattoo, right? Definitely one of the trashiest I’ve seen.
