And just like a goose, if you step over one you’ll find your nether bits in a very precarious situation.

My local food bank is my favorite place to donate and volunteer at. My friend also works as a CASA so I donate to them as well (link is for the national organization, but they’re may be a local group you can donate to directly). Other than that, look around your area for local nonprofits. There are lots of local charities that work with kids, help solve local problems, etc that can always use some financial help. There are several organizations that you can go to if you want to vet and check on the charities to make sure they’re legit.
Dee vee deee… Spin 'em, burn 'em, stick 'em in a 'puter.
I use Plex. I have different libraries set up for movies, TV shows, educational videos, home videos, and during the pandemic it was great because my kids were doing dance class remotely, so I even set up a library so they could have all their dance class videos in one spot to practice their routines. I also organize my family photos there as well, which works out great to have those and the home videos all in one place. I can even give family members access to various libraries if they want to view family photos/videos, which has been handy as well.
Lots of people swear by jellyfin, but I’ve had so much success with Plex that I haven’t bothered to check it out. It’s probably easy enough to get a server for each up and running and see which you prefer.
Do you know where the pairing key is stored? The instructions just say “obtain the pairing key” which isn’t particularly helpful…
Same here. Plex just makes sharing with family so much simpler. My mom and dad can figure it out just as easily as my kids can and the amount of time I have to do tech support for anyone has been literal zero, which is a huge bonus for me, personally.
Yeah, it sounds like a problem with a contributor to Shutterstock not following the terms of use. The person who put together the marketing materials for Loki was just using stock images. I don’t think it should be on them to enforce shutterstock’s TOU.
Attacking civilians is also plain and simple terrorism
So we’re in agreement that this is essentially two terrorist states fighting each other? And the biggest losers in all of this will be the innocent Israeli and Palestinian citizens who just want to live their lives in peace. Meanwhile Hamas and the Israeli state get to go back and forth playing the their sick game of race-to-the-bottom-of-the-morality-barrel trying to blow each other to smithereens.
All of the pieces. On both sides of the board. Mentally it’s much more taxing keeping track of which pieces are yours. We guys have it really easy with the whole black/white pieces.
You’ll have to fight me, Tim Eagames, for him! But not before we join forces to best Samantha Bethesda, our sworn nemesis.
The cynical part of me wants to say that’s by design. That reddit wants to get rid of good moderation tools so that it can allow more paid astroturfung to get more revenue.
I found a Firefox extension to do the same. Handy if I occasionally find a gem worth keeping, but yeah, the quality is not as great as a Blu-ray rip would be.
Fmovies.to is great for finding shows and movies. Just make sure you have a really good ad blocker on your browser.
I use fmovies.to and they look identical. I’m assuming they’re run by the same folks? If it is, just make sure you have a very good ad blocker, because otherwise the site is unusable without it. With it, though, it’s absolutely amazing, especially their subtitle support. Sometimes I’ll watch a show on fmovies instead of the actual streaming service the show is on because the subs are somehow better than the ones from the actual streaming services.
Have you made a physical list of all the things you need to do, or is it all in your head? I find that writing down my to-do list to start makes things more manageable because it’s one thing less to do, which is to remember the list to begin with!
Once everything is out of my head I try and look to see if there is anything that I can do at the same time, or things with overlapping tasks, similar locations (if I have to run errands outside the house), or maybe just things that are the same but for some reason I’m my mind I just kept them as separate tasks. Sometimes I can make my list shorter by just combining things.
From there I usually try and see if there are any tasks that will take me give minutes or less, I do a task, I physically cross it off the list. The relief that I feel from physically crossing something off my list is amazing. And it’s incredible how much you can sometimes shorten your list by getting rid of those little 5 minutes tasks.
After I do the little five minute tasks, then I move up to longer tasks little by little until they’re all crossed off.
Best of luck, you’ve got this!
Keith David. I have a strong personal belief that one day that man’s voice will be integral to the discovery and/or implementation of the cure for cancer. I also think he would be a benevolent AI overlord.
I have a bunch of old roms. PM me and I’ll see what I can do to get them to you.
