My critique of the video is the creator’s devoted need to make people feel concerned about something that really isn’t that big of a deal.
The “call the guy” rhetoric really speaks for itself. Look at how it’s presented.

What about the 20 years between 1990 and 2010? The 25 years between 1990 and 2015?
I’m not saying they didn’t happen, but they seem to be happening much more frequently now. Hence why we actually have groundings to see what’s going on.
I really think it’s a cultural issue. People get lazy, think technology/training will do it for them, and then reality hits. Hard.
Edit: Or, I guess, pilot error isn’t the cause? If it is pilot error, though, then maybe my theory has some credence?
Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrDEtSlqJC4
30 minutes of bullshit, and hopefully you can see how this guy who’s paid to make videos has a vested interest in making them seem… interesting.
Sensationalism.
I don’t see why you think the constituency would routinely make worse decisions than the people they put in power.
Fact is a large portion of the population has no problem voting incompetently and/or under the influence of malicious talking heads.
What makes you think politicians are exempt from this?
And what are they doing to do about this?
So just vote for the issues that matter to you.
Either way, you get more control than having someone else make the decisions for you.
Dang, it’s only a matter of time before the US follows suit to remain competitive.
You keep saying what is required as though it’s absolute fact.
I just said you can “can pass the training and certification [and inspections] then still slack off in the field.” What part about this is so difficult for you to understand?

It would not require that. You can pass the training and certification then still slack off in the field.
Hey man, just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s never true.
Pretty much every restaurant loads their food up with sugar or salt because that’s what makes it taste good.
We’ve become addicted to salt so much that we don’t even realize we’re getting too much of it. You won’t make it as a chef if you don’t make your food unhealthy. Putting in a healthy amount of salt will always result in your food tasting ‘bland.’
Couldn’t disagree more, depending on the location.
Pretty much ever McDonald’s outside of major cities is a social hub for locals. People will go there everyday and spend hours inside talking with each other.
Hey, I saw that youtube video too!
Unfortunately it’s dead-wrong.
Maybe it’s just me, but I thought the residents were always disrespectful of the city.
Something like Venice having the filthiest water of any city because the residents just dump their trash into it.
I dunno, I never really understood the reverence for Italian culture 🤷
They always seem to put the shittiest people on top while good people go unnoticed.
