Really sucks Cabot has gotten so expensive from the terrifs, it’s so much better than the store brand stuff.

It did matter, making them take measurements all over again was the part that fucked with them.
Ha! Gonna let my old boss know. We also did sheet metal fabrication, but very rarely did things need to be accurate to a 1/32nd
I worked for a bit as a high end roofer (USA), this is the first I’m hearing about different classes of measuring tape. We always used Stanley fatmax tapes, and so did just about every carpenter we worked with. I wonder how accurate that tape is?
I assume it was pretty accurate because we would always fuck with the new guys when they drew a cut line and asked what side of the line your supposed to cut from.
That’s astro boy isn’t it?
I feel like creator content isn’t about quality, but form. People watch the same TV shows from decades ago because they are familiar. Creator content is kinda like that, it’s cozy. It’s something you can just put on and zone out to. It’s interesting and entertaining, but it’s not very intense. Its usually people sharing their passions, so it feels very human and relatable too.
But also there’s probably something to be said about how much it cost to get started on YouTube vs how much it cost to produce a TV show or movie.
I don’t really have a problem with this. I paid for a lifetime quite a long time ago. Right now I only use Plex for plexamp and everything else is on jellyfin.
Is finamp at a point that it can replace plexamp yet?
A lot of the expensive eggs are more than just organic. There are other classifications for eggs too. Like cage free, or free range. These have increasingly strict regulations (for now I guess).
But free range chickens must spend a certain amount of the day outside, and below a specific population density for that range they are free in.
Cage chickens can’t move and shit right next to each other. They are more likely to get the flu I believe.
I’m lucky enough to I’ve around a couple of really good local creameries, and they have some amazing cheeses (Mooncake by sugar house creamery is my favorite). But a couple of years ago I became lactose intolerant. Cabot cheddar doesn’t bother me, but most other cheeses do. At least I can still eat as much goat cheese as I want.
