Just so I’m clear, are you referring to the red hat as in one of the 6 thinking hats? The one about using emotion and intuition?
Edit: 🤦♂️

Not everyone was a fan of the non-compete ban, this year or last. Republicans and other proponents of the clauses said they help prevent trained employees and their skills from being poached by competitors.
Wah! Pay people better and treat them like real people and they won’t need to be poached.
It’s no grosser than wiping with dry paper and then walking around with poop smear to stink up the downstairs area.
And I’m not saying that to be mean. It’s the truth. We’ve been brainwashed by the likes of Johnson & Johnson to believe dry paper can fully clean your butt after pooping. It simply is not true. That’s the real gross.
It’s high time we start talking about all of this. How else can we learn and grow?
It took me a little bit to figure out, but it’s all about the “aim” of the spray. If you’re not positioned just right, it might not be washing the area completely. But when it does, it’s so satisfying seeing a clean piece of wet tp.
Last time I did this, I dedicated (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman to my now ex-wife.
And I’d do it again!
Yo, that dog bowl is off da chain!
I’m very much a laymen, and this is purely my opinion, but this whole idea that people can say whatever they want because of freedom of speech is bullshit. I get it’s nuanced: you’re free to say what you want, but not free from the consequences. Blah blah blah. Problem is, no one can agree on the consequences. People like this can continue to spew their hurtful hate left and right, and nothing is done to them to punish them for their obvious intolerance. Meanwhile, the people that are affected by this vitriolic bullshit have to keep looking over their shoulders every damn day of their lives waiting for the inevitable escalation that will come.
Personally, I’ve always hated this notion of a nuclear family, and that there is some standard that people must go by, lest you be weird or lesser of a person. The more that times goes on, and the economy is the way it is, the more I feel justified in my thinking.
I lived with my folks into my late 20s. I only moved out because I went on a date with a girl, and never left. She never said anything, so I kept going back to her place. It just sort of happened. If I hadn’t met her, I don’t know when I’d have moved out of my parent’s house.
If your mother is okay with it, why the hell not? She probably enjoys the company. I currently live alone, except the weeks I have my kids, and while I do enjoy time to myself, I look forward to having my boys around. I’ve told my sons that no matter how old they are, or what happens in their life, they will always have a home with me. My youngest (9) states he is never moving out, and he’s not one to joke about that. 😅
I say, if it works for you and your family, do it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, and fuck off to anybody who says otherwise.
If you’ve never had the pleasure of visiting [email protected], then I’d say you’re missing out. Between !@[email protected] and !@[email protected], it’s always a party.
I too don’t feel love; as in I there is not a physiological sensation that I can point to that is distinct for “love”. I know what sadness and anger feel like. I know what it feels like to disassociate from trauma. But I do not have a physical reaction to love.
I do, however, notice my attitude and behavior toward the things and people I love. I am kinder, more gentle, excited to be with, and would do just about anything for them. I prefer their company over being alone. And even if I’m mad at them, I still “love” them because I still want to be around them.
Maybe I’m weird and broken or something. I don’t know. But I used to worry that I didn’t have the capacity for love like society suggested I should. But then I realized that I do genuinely love things, even if I can’t feel it.
Why not? All the bugs buzzing and frogs croaking are horny-ass males of the species trying to get laid.
Ain’t nature beautiful?
I keep mine at 21°C.
And juicy… mmmm 🤤 yum!
They have simulated conditions in the parts of the accommodation most exposed to the sun and have tested the effectiveness of the cooling system with an objective to keep the indoor temperature between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius (73 and 79 degrees Fahrenheit).
Then it continues with:
The geothermal energy system will ensure that the temperature in the athlete apartments in the Seine-Saint-Denis suburb does not rise above 26 degrees Celsius (79 degrees Fahrenheit) at night…
They also go on to say that the apartments will be around 11°F cooler than outside temps, which are expected to be over 100°F.
—
Let’s just stop for a second and let that sink in. First of all, who keeps their houses up to 79°F at night? Is that a thing in Paris/Europe? Do they have ceiling fans or standing fans to keep the air moving?
That aside, these are athletes who spend their daytime hours sweating their asses off, performing feats us mere mortals couldn’t dream of achieving. And, yet they are expected to “adapt” to have to suffer at night too? Fuck that noise.
I’m all for reducing our carbon footprint, and finding more natural ways to keep cool in the hot summer months. But we also have to be practical and reasonable. I don’t blame those countries for giving France the middle finger and bringing their own ACs.
Prior to the adoption of the Latin word in English, the penis was referred to as a “yard”.
No wonder men love working in the yard. It’s just an extension of playing with their penis.
Not that I’m suggesting that I’m smart, but I really felt this comment to my core. I feel like people that know me may look at me like I’m a “Dwight Friend”, and I’ve long realized this (though never have I articulated it quite as well as you). It’s a real confidence killer when you realize this is how you’re viewed. But yes, if someone called needing help, I would be there in a heartbeat.
At this point, I’m surprised anybody (including myself) still buys/uses Google services, given how risky it is that you’ll become dependent on them and then they kill off the product(s). I really need to get off my ass and switch mail providers.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Oh ok. I tried searching it, but you can thank modern day SEO for only showing me shit from Red Hat, Inc (the Linux vendor).Edit: Ok, I’m super stupid. MAGA red hats. 🤦♂️ I need a drink.
