That post could be perceived as “I went to no stupid questions and then asserted that all questions are too stupid for me” so you’re sort of running against the ethos of the forum, you can definitely ask that question, it just has to be in a more general question area where your post isn’t openly running against the idea of the forum you’re posting in.

It’s definitively manipulative, but people on the internet like to take something like that and then sprint to the conclusion that the person exhibiting the behavior is entirely knowledgeable about what they’re doing and is nefariously doing it on purpose in order to control the person and keep them locked in a position of weakness.

A lot of people exhibit behavior like this because they feel scared or upset and don’t know how to healthily express or resolve it, or were taught by unhealthy homelife that the behavior is normal, even if it’s not. I think people in the comments immediately rushing to leave her and anyone like her behind will either find it hard to maintain a relationship, or should count their lucky stars if they’re with someone that is completely healthy and knowledgeable about negative human behaviors and willing (and able) to fix it.

If it’s any consolation, reddit sort of trains you to post things like that because that’s what the masses like and recognize the most.

He’s whiny in just barely enough lines to establish that he’s still a bit naive, but I would not consider him an overall whiny character, even in the vacuum of episode 4, he is not constantly bitching and dodging his responsibility once its importance is established.

From my viewpoint, it’s usually more of a coercive thing. Something you’re not necessarily entirely opposed to, but you might rather not, and in order to avoid a situation you might perceive as bad in a different way, you relent and allow it to happen, leading to years of questioning whether it even was rape or not, even though what it does to you mentally is irrefutable.

Yeah, I hope people don’t mistake bad comedy for letting the games down. The games probably got a laugh out of me once every 75 jokes.

This is probably more of an individual’s question than a gender-based question. I would support the transition, but I’d be lying to myself if I said I’d want to be with a trans guy. I am vanilla-ass hetero.

To try and answer the question, I think this is really about cultural history and fashion. The real question is “how did the male trucker look come about, historically?”

Then, “what parts of this fashion look represent traditional masculinity, did the look come to symbolize it, or did parts of the look already come derived from traditional masculinity?”

Then you can make an assumption that F to M trans that like this look find it to reflect the parts of their inner masculinity, because of the historical symbolism of masculinity held within the look. I’m not gonna do all the historical research, though.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I’ve seen it too many times now for me to know if it’s really as good as I find it, but I think I’d really like it all over again if I could forget it.

When I was reaaaaally playing too much Hitman I began to notice large containers that could fit human bodies inside.

To that, I’d say it’s likely better if we use landmarks. Identify unique furniture or a window or something on each side. Then, refer to them as “Window side” or “Lamp side”.

I’d say it’d be from the perspective of laying in it, since no one cares what side of the bed is which unless they’re going to lay in it

Probably getting a Gameboy Color as a gift from my mom as a young child, and then one more time when my mom let me play games on her (not made for gaming) home computer while she was at work. It started me down a lifelong path of loving games, and my initial leaning towards handheld systems and then straight into PC gaming gave me a lot more flexibility with the sorts of games I enjoyed and found entertaining, alongside all of the things that the internet showed me as I explored it.
