What are the open-source alternatives though? I don’t think there are even proprietary alternatives, it’s like Netflix before each publisher decided to make their own streaming platform.
This is similar to an idea I had some time ago but it was too difficult for me to implement. I’m happy to see a similar program being develop. Though using Jellyfin, Sonarr, Radarr, seems too difficult for the average user, with so many interconnected programs. I wish there was a simpler alternative.
My idea was:
A program that combines the features of Mediarepo and Fopnu, connected to a metadata database like MusicBrainz. The integration with a metadata database would enable users to automatically curate their file collections and contribute to the database by curating files that haven’t been curated yet. This would allow for efficient organization and easy searching of files based on their metadata. Users would also have the ability to create collections and download entire collections instead of searching for individual files.
The maximum likelihood estimate date for AGI according to metaculus is 2027
After we achieve AGI you don’t need to send humans anywhere because a robot could do anything a human can and probably better.
And this Kurzgesagt video explains how asteroid mining could be done. Unlimited Resources From Space – Asteroid Mining
You are right that it wouldn’t make much sense going to other solar systems or invading alien planets when there are so many minerals on asteroids and planets closer to Earth like Mars.
I don’t know, perhaps they want to double the budget and they need a better excuse.
The only question you need to ask to determine practicality is, “What is the return on investment?” We don’t mine the seas or asteroids because they wouldn’t be worth it. However, as soon as the technology becomes cheap enough, you can bet that there will be investors putting money into extracting resources from those locations. The same principle applies to other planets – if it’s profitable, it will be pursued.
For the same reasons we would visit them, for cultural exchange or to steal their resources in the case of the US empire.
All this talk of national security is eerily familiar… They actually did the same after 9/11. I think they are just trying to get more military funding for a war against aliens that never comes, and drum up fear so they can take away even more rights from the people, all in the name of “national security”.
That’s nice but the thing is if you posted those side effects on Facebook they would have to remove it because of the US government pressure. What do you think about that? Shouldn’t people be able to share and read those side effects on any platform they choose online?
What? It wouldn’t be the first time they have documents leaked. Last time they may have even changed their name to Meta because of it.
Some experts believe that the name change from Facebook to Meta was an attempt to stave off the tsunami of bad press following misinformation on its platforms, content moderation failures, and revelations about the negative effect its products have on users’ mental health.
She’s just reporting, she’s not making a video dissecting and proving everything for you, if you want one of those maybe you should search for some multiple hour video of a conspiracy theorist on a whiteboard. If she believes in the side effects maybe she has reported on it at some point. I know most people aren’t going to believe anything they don’t hear on mainstream media even when they are just censored US propaganda outlets whose purpose isn’t to inform people. But independently of who we each trust what is your answer to the main question, just disregard the body if you don’t like it.
My angle is that the US government wants to censor even this type of information just for pointing at side effects, and people should be pissed but they just don’t seem to care, and I’m wondering why they don’t care about the US censoring this information.
I’m not going to bother with someone with your mental capacity.
Write it on a scientific paper and see how much I care about it. Why people are incapable of answering a simple question?
You haven’t understood anything. I remember the speech when Biden looked into the camera and said “our patience is running out with anyone who refuses the vaccine”. At that point I knew this had nothing to do with health. I believe it’s a way to control people. Let the antivaxx opinions back to the platforms so people can make informed decisions about their health.
Well if the mainstream media knew they wouldn’t tell you either since they just go along with the government public statements.
The US propaganda machine explained
Don’t tell me what to do. YOU are the one going offtopic instead of answering a simple question, which is what this was about, so if YOU don’t want to answer the question just leave the community.
No one is talking about the deceased. As long as I know the side effects include myocarditis in 1 out of 35 people vaccinated, so if someone dies of it, it wouldn’t automatically be attributed to the vaccine, specially with the US censoring the relation between vaccine and side effects.

But I found the paper in a Rumble video so I guess that makes it misinformation right @[email protected] ? Or is it just when you disagree with it?
Sometimes I get sleepy, but my brain doesn’t stop thinking. I listen to storybooks with music to help me sleep. When I try to count sheep, I end up daydreaming. And when I listen to music, I forget about it and start daydreaming again. If the story is super interesting, I stay awake longer. But the most sleepy audiobooks for me are the boring ones or the ones I already know. Today, I’m trying to write my thoughts down, maybe it will help me stop thinking so much and make my head less full!
