There are those types on both ends of the spectrum and it’s much more socially acceptable to be on the conservative end and be like that.
A weary netizen finding a new home.
Yeah, I like the Salvia plant. :)

When conservatives and liberals use the term, it means that person who’s on their high horse, that thinks they have superior virtues and morals because of their far left ideals and thinks they’re better than others because of it. And the point is that they don’t have better morals and they think they do. Of course people like that exist. But the term gets thrown around at anyone who seems to have very common sense morals in my leftist opinion.
Get woke and be proud of it. Take back the power of the term. Honestly not even the left does that so I don’t expect anyone to actually do that. But isn’t it ridiculous to bully people over that? “Oohh you accept other people’s differences?? WOKE!!” Uhh thanks?
Enjoy experimenting with cooking and food prepping a lot more to find new healthy Staples you like with more vegetables, protein.and healthy fats (edited). Eat more fermented foods. Don’t buy junkfood/sweets, cook or bake healthy versions of junkfood instead. But avoid artificial sweeteners, they mess with your gut biome. Add less sugar to things. Just look for zero added sugars on packages. Bam, easy. 🙃
C-c-c-conservative combo-breaker!
Edit: Sorry, I just wanted to say that. But I do think that falls under right wing with a sprinkle of social moderate leftism but even so, the debate of “can gays have the same rights as all of us” takes away from the ultimate leftist pov of “we should all have better material conditions as a class, including minorities”.
Edit 2: and fiscally conservative is ofc “you keep whatever pennies you may or may not have, I got money Idgaf I’m not giving it away” which is the misunderstood antithesis of the concept of the far left.
I see… Fair enough. I like to know the why behind things, even if it doesn’t help anything. Thanks for the added insight/perspective!
The comments are very interesting. I’m just an outsider looking in but isn’t today’s political climate in the US more of a result of more democratic voters having lost so much faith in the democratic party that the majority just stopped voting? Rather than more people turning Republican? After Biden their downfall became so apparent (does anyone best Biden in incompetence? The man could barely string words together) and Kamala just seemed like a reflection of that.
I have so many mixed feelings. Mostly anger though.
Bhutan must have such close communities and actual villages raising babies together! 🥺 Y’all are so lucky, I feel like the media rotted our brains too much.
Learn to write in Toki Pona? Its vocab is 120 words. Maybe someone out there could recognize that it’s a language and go from there. Edit: the revolutionary would have to know the language first, if you mean without prior knowledge of anything, that’s rough. it’s too conspicuous anyway I got nothing
Go on Facebook, look up and type any illness + cure
I’m so jealous you were there and can speak the language! I’m having a hard time. :')
I heard that the re-education camps are actually high quality spaces with classes that explain Chinese culture in a positive way, should they want to fit in but people can practice their own customs too. they just want them to adopt something, anything. I’m trying to word that carefully. I can’t remember the name of my source right now, I’d have to check later. So yeah but if you put it that way, it doesn’t sound so bad. You can judge it but it’s not harmful if that’s the case. Regardless, I’m skeptical because of how convincing certain other sources are too. Yeah it sucks how racist the country can be.
Actually no, as far as I’m aware of. I’m really into global econ stats and none come close to China, it’s really remarkable. That’s what caused me to research it more. Sorry if my comment sounded butthurt.
Would you ever believe it if it wasn’t a police state dystopia? I wouldn’t feel this way if I believed it was. Have you gone out of your way to do extensive research on the politics, history and quality of life in China over the course of months or years and looked for multiple sources from multiple parts of the world? Or have you just read/watched the news and had history class? Maybe found a book in a library one time? You don’t need to question whether I love dystopias. Do question if I know or at least think I know what you know.
I knew this was gonna get dislikes.
Have you seen their infrastructure? Their technology? Their scientific advancements, Their social security, their political involvement as citizens…
I’m not saying I’m pro-China period, just comparing them to other countries. The ccp did a lot of things wrong and I’m against that. I’m also not a black and white thinker.
Damn I’m more pro-China than any other country but I absolutely hate that they do this.
It really was like 2 minutes wasn’t it? 🙃
