I really liked Rob Inglis’ read
I could go for a T300 for my workstation
Why would you shoot this rock for the damage one did 66m years ago?
Remember T/F/I/L Mag-rf is more effective than drawing
Rickyisms. Water under the fridge, worst case Ontario etc.
Recency bias: Tool - I hadn’t been to a concert of that caliber in years, it was exactly what I was craving. Setlist was incredible and the band were on top of their game. 9.5/10 wish they’'d played vicarious instead of the pot.
Favorite band: Rush - saw them back in 2012 on the Clockwork Angels tour. There’s no way these guys tour if they can’t play, show was great despite a lackluster setlist. I’m a 70s/early 80s rush fan and that era of their discography was largely unplayed.
Childhood: System of a Down - I was a massive fan of these guys and a young teenager and my old man took my brother and I to see them in '05
Honorable mentions: Black Sabbath, Slayer, Rob Zombie
I’d take a new tenacious d movie any day. My vote is for learn to fly as well
I drink my coffee from a ceramic mug and it’s pretty good
A schizophrenic man killed his parents and fled on a cross country pursuit from the police at the advice of his dog.
Toxicity - System of a Down was an incredible album about American exceptionalism and war hungriness. The towers were hit a week after the album was released.
From “Losing It” by Rush
“Some are born to move the world to live their fantasies, but most of us just dream about the things we’d like to be” was a lyric in the album following Moving Pictures which was Rush’s biggest album and they firmly sat in the former category at that point in their careers. Still my favorite band though
Drum support was weeks away last I played a couple years ago. I haven’t been keeping up with development but I imagine they’re supported by now
I read somewhere it was actually Robin Williams that convinced him it was a good idea. There a ton of c64 shovelware and brand recognition is a powerful tool if you can build something worthwhile
