The state immediately appealed the decision.

Which translates to 0.08% of the cost of a $30,000 car, and a lot of their gas guzzlers cost far more. Literally pocket change for them.
Learn to crochet. It’s not hard to learn, aside from some people whose brains are wired a bit different, and it doesn’t cost much to get into. Eats up a lot of time for larger projects, and you can kinda watch tv or listen to radio/audiobooks while doing it.
It’s just different scammers now.
I got grandfathered into YouTube Music since I was using Google Music when it got shut down. While not as good as Google Music, YT Music works well for me and has been building playlists suited to what I want to listen to. Plus, some lesser known local artists that only have their music on YouTube as video uploads will still show up on YouTube Music. I haven’t really tried any other serious streaming platforms, and only YT Music and Spotify natively sync to my car with maps.
I had a new tooth start sprouting on the inside of my mouth a while back. The new nerve in it was horribly sensitive, and I thought I had a cracked or damaged tooth before the dentist told me what was going on. I would rather have a nerve-less implant than a new-growing tooth like that again, given the choice.
Edit: It was a random new growth along the outside of my gums in my 20s.
The wiki page says right on it that under 18 is considered a minor for federal and forbids any interstate transport for illicit sexual activities. So any pornography (even within same state if internet/messengers are used), and any sexual acts that would be illegal where teaveled to (which could be determined by the state’s age of consent instead of the federal term of minor).
I was more trying to point out that some stuff that states find legal could get pulled into being illegal on the federal level in certain cases.
Federal is still at 18, I’m mostly sure, but they don’t really get involved unless it fall under their jurisdiction; mainly when interstate commerce is in-play such as internet porn.
But then what about high school couples that are 18 or 19 with 17? Most states have a Romeo & Juliet clause for near age couples to ignore that but I’ve heard of people getting arrested at 18 for cp because their 17 year old gf sent them nudes. (Interstate commerce = internet = federal jurisdiction)
The truly rich are rich of soul. If you need help achieving enlightenment, I would be happy to help you and take some money off your hands.

This is exactly what mega-corporations want. If we save money, they don’t get it.
So did the restaurant.
If you’re just hard-boiling, it shouldn’t get dirty at all. It just steams the eggs, and I keep the side with the hole facing up so nothing has come out. I’ve only scrubbed it once, and that was from the hard water buildup I got.
A good pair of titanium scissors. They aren’t very expensive, but cut things far better than cheap scissors. They last a lot longer, too; I’ve had mine for a few years, and they’re still sharp enough to cut my skin if I get a little carefree. I got a two-pack and keep a pair with my lunch box for foodstuffs I need to open at work. I even carried a pair around at work for a while when I needed them to cut zip ties, shrink wrap, and banding.
I got an egg cooker that came with a small measuring cup for water, which told you how much to put in for soft/medium/hard-boiled. It’s about $10 and cooks up to 7 at a time. Others can do more. I’m never cooking eggs in a pot again, as long as I have this.
I’m pretty sure that has been able to be emulated and run through most emulation software now. These Star Wars games had specific code and drivers that, when I looked up why it wouldn’t emulate years ago, had not been cracked open to get the source code to enable people to program it into emulation software.
The keyboard controls are very janky. You’d have to do custom button mapping with a controller, and there’s no analog input. At least not without some mods that I’m not sure exist.
IIRC, the original cartridge had an extra chip in it that emulation hasn’t been able to use. I’m not sure if any progress has been made on this and a few other games that used these.
It’s been ruled that a punishment needs to be BOTH cruel AND unusual, to qualify as a violation. One or the other is fine, as long as it’s not both. Scalping someone for petty theft would be okay as long as most-everyone convicted got scalped.
It’s almost as if he isn’t doing it for the money…
