You should serve yourself first
Yep, start by learning that the expression is “I couldn’t care less” so you don’t come across as an idiot

Saw one at Balmoral estate once!
Plenty evidence of them in the UK, I see no reason they couldn’t be in Florida!
Did ye aye
Yep, simple fact is we can read waaaaaay faster than most people because we’ve always needed subtitles!
It does sound odd, but I read it as “things used to be cheaper on the internet”.
I’ve never bought groceries on the internet, but a good example is household products
Compare the price of, for example, drain cleaner, coffee machine descaler, dish soap, sponges etc etc
They’re far cheaper to buy in a supermarket than from Amazon or anywhere online now. Online retailers have been jacking up prices for a decade, whereas supermarkets have been trying to keep them down
Is the “leather-bound” bit not just to protect against bullets?
Fucking shut up about that demented baboon
Aye I remember fees for paying electronically. In about 1998 😂
What century is your bank from lol
I cannot even begin to imagine not having the Freedom©®™ to crack open a bottle of wine for a picnic
That’s insane
Sorry I ran out of concentration halfway through your comment. Could you split it up into bite size chunks and spoon feed it to me?
So your source for this “drama” is one random person on Lemmy linking to a one random person’s blog?
People who say the TV licence is a ripoff should be made to watch US cable TV. I nearly gouged my fucking eyes out with a rusty spoon.
The BBC produces the best quality TV programming on the planet
An awful lot of shite as well
Not free, tax subsidised. It’s about €120 per year paid through local taxes. If it had the number of ads that cable has, nobody would watch it lol
Where I am it’s required by law, but it only costs about €30 per month
I tried listening to the audiobook, and the narrator is even more annoying than Wil Wheaton, which I didn’t think was possible
