OP12 can run custom ROM. I’ve tried YAAP, but there was a couple oddities, so back on stock. ETA bootloader unlock was as simple as fastboot commands.

What is your suggestion? What action should OP take?

Honestly, I haven’t used Kodi in a lot of years. There are add-ons for things like Netflix and YouTube, and I vaguely recall using those.

If you can get a UI set up, like Kodi or something, I liked using my Flirc receiver on my htpc. You can use any IR remote, and completely map the buttons to functions. It was sweet.

I don’t believe it’s possible. I think it’s all the main storage/Downloads, and no other option.
