  • Yes.

Seriously get paid double and actually have less than a worker in another country since we have to pay for each single piece of life separately at retail prices.

And 2… Yeesh yeah. Literally stocks just keep going up cause the value of the dollar is lowering and nobody knows where to put it to keep it safe other than the stock market… And it does feel like it’s gonna get robbed at some point.

So agreed, just think it’s wild that there is enough money hoarding and spending in any state in the US to beat out lots of countries for GDP and sets the US as the battery that powers the global economy at our pain. I do hope we just drain the battery rather than light it on fire.

  • They have no empathy for others and think if you are suffering it would be best to just be removed from society as naturally strong people will just figure out existence.
It’s wild cause they also think we should have an abundance of people so we can war and buy stuff to further enrich themselves and that any ailments they face are valid to be cured as they have proven themselves to be the strong human.

They view wealth as value of a human and see money being spent on others as a waste of your own collected value that belongs to you and not the species.

They just lack empathy. They lack the spark of humanity. They have a religion of value. They are bad people that want to be right more than anything.

  • A lot of the bible is just stories about how awful it is to live under a shitty authoritarian government that runs an empire of abuse. The flaws of human nature, and stories of how to resist that.

Some old stories about how to use the land, what they think pregnancy is like and why humans are specials. And slots of inserts from a business man and a king after him that explain how outsiders should be kept out and how to best make money off of religion and abusing others.

My point is a lot of stuff is gonna be familiar cause it’s just human nature and a collection of all of it edited and added to for centuries.

  • How do you even begin to care about anything in that game when you are basically mashing buttons for hours and just listening to people complain about how shit life is?

I get its an art piece of living the existence you are thrown into but it feels like a confusing mess even gameplay wise for the starting hours that people that have finished it I feel miss how unfun it is at first.

I didn’t even know why I was now stuck on the other side of a wall in a union dispute and I just couldn’t be bothered to restart the game to try something else after how long it took to get dressed the first time.

So I think it’s actually really important that the games that would be considered objective masterpieces would have to overcome any language barriers and be an experience approachable by anyone. You can learn the mechanics to enjoy the gameplay without words
    So:

    • Portal
    • Journey
    • Binding of Isaac
    • Shadow of the Colossus
    • Metro 2033 (which I have sat on and I believe even if it was entirely in Russian you would still get it )
    • DOOM (original you don’t need words you shoot)
    • Super Mario Bros. 3
    • Katamari Damacy

Then there are dialogue option stories that are fantastic stories that I could consider greats but shareable masterpieces is hard to say as they rely on you speaking the language both literally and then gameplay wise:

    • Stanley Parable
    • Outer Wilds
    • Tales From the Borderlands
    • To the Moon
    • Talos Principle
    • Golf Club Wasteland
    • Dead Space
