They’re both tragedies
They’re both tragedies
Except we’ll take countless other species with us (on top of the ones we’ve already wiped out)
The worst part is paying $48.89 to solve a captcha
I have similar requirements to you and honestly the best solution I could find was Microsoft Authenticator. I know Microsoft bad etc, but if you already have a Microsoft account anyway you can back up all your 2fa codes to your iCloud or Google account. If anyone knows of an open source alternative I’d be interested, but the ability to recover my accounts is more important than using something open source
Sounds like you want a humane AI pin!
I’ve got Windows 11 on my work laptop and the only 2 benefits I’ve seen are notepad now has tabs and auto save, and snipping tool can now record videos. On the downsides the new start menu is so shit I only ever use it for search now, which is also shit (it frequently misses the first few letters when I press the windows key and start typing), and the new right click menu is annoying.
But it’s called a desktop!
Any chance you can send it to me as well?
They don’t want the right to privacy and freedom for adults either though. Sure they might say they do if you ask them but as soon as they’re mildly inconvenienced by a protest or someone mentions children are in danger they’re all in favour of spying and censorship laws

Doom Eternal. I don’t usually enjoy FPS games and I’m not very good at them but I absolutely loved Doom (2016) as it took out most of the things I hate about FPS games. But in Eternal I just felt like I was constantly out of ammo, and there was too much focus on using specific weapons against specific weak points on enemies which I couldn’t get the hang of
What makes you say that? I only switched to it recently
The pointless arguments it causes over who sees who on what day, does it really matter if you see someone on Boxing Day instead of Christmas Day for example?
What about some sort of optical interface? Then we could have all the smart tech in another device and transmit the information wirelessly!
Jokes aside I agree with the disability side of things, however I still think those would be better as standalone implants that don’t need internet connectivity etc
Not just that, imagine having to have invasive brain surgery every few years when it’s time to upgrade, or malware that you literally can’t escape from. Or even just the usual software bugs would be a lot more annoying if it’s physically plugged into your brain
I wouldn’t really class that as a backup, that’s like saying you have a spare tyre because you can always buy one from a garage!
Don’t hold them down for too long though or it automatically calls the emergency services!
I would if I had one, I use a lightning adapter with wired headphones
Wow I didn’t realise it had been over a year already
