Just your typical internet guy with questionable humor

Just yesterday I saw a post on lemmy that said that turkish xitter users were migrating to bluesky. Didn’t bother opening to see the comments or read it. Seeing this now, all I can think is “well, what did they expect?”
I’ve heard people complain a lot about its resource usage on the server side, that the advantages of it running on elixir are moot unless the instance has over 1k people. The web UI leaves a lot to be desired, true, but at least it’s not such a client-side resource hog/browser crasher as misskey/sharkey
Last panel has strong Carl vibes
I feel like a celebrity now 🤩
Hard to belle-ieve
There’s quite a discussion about that further elsewhere in this thread. To me, the combination of vector-like thick lines with that background color, the characters having such mute expressions and there not being one actual optimist.
Others also pointed to the “weirdness” that is the lines of the characters’ arms becoming part of the table, which I didn’t notice at first.
Perhaps more importantly, it does not look like the “author” has “zero drawing skill”, but actually knows how to make vector art, even if relatively simple. That makes the problems more glaring
I’ve been exposed! 🤖
Sounds like you’re walking a metaphorical minefield
Not OP, but let’s make this better:
PS: i doubt anyone here would honestly say “damn, that’s beyond my skill”, which goes to show that “not everyone can draw” is a bullshit argument for using AI to make comics
Demontower, found within Night in the Woods. That could easily be a standalone short game
On average, how much do you think your fellow North Koreans actually believe in the dear leader?
How do you feel about the general culture of absolute obedience to people higher up in the hierarchy?
How do you even have access to a computer (phone?) and the internet? Aren’t those heavily restricted and watched by the police?
Youtube has some propaganda/advertisement videos showing shops in Pyongyang with ice cream and other sweets. Do the locals buy there often, or at all?
Like I never heard a programmer bemoan that they do all this work and it just vanishes into a void where nobody interacts with it
Where I work, there are at least 5 legacy systems that have been “finished” but abandoned before being used at all because of internal politics, as in, the fucker that moved heaven and hell to make the system NOW got fired the day after it was ready and the area that was supposed to use it didn’t want to.
We’re as cooked as artists (when asked to do shit jobs for non paying customers)
Do you go to the gym, or do pushups frequently? If you do, you should manage to do that thing with the pectorals after a while
Good relation with family
A more apt comparison would be with film reviewers. Before the internet, knowing what a movie was about, if you didn’t care about spoilers, would require either someone watching and telling you, or reading a piece on a newspaper (or, in some places, watching TV). It’s almost the same with “professional” game reviews and how they completely lost space to random dudes on the internet.
Also, watching a video usually feels more like entertainment, whereas reading a review or walkthrough feels more like doing some research.
Dragon Ball has a scene in one of the earlier episodes where Goku gets desperate and confused when he finds out Bulma doesn’t have balls. In Brazil, the panty removing scene was cut, but him screaming and waking up Bulma was kept, with the chatter being fully nonsensical “I was hungry and looking for food!”
I also remember seeing that a country, I think Thailand?, censors even male pectorals, so a lot of DBZ fights had big blurs over the characters.
Victim, possibly. Not evil? Fuck no, I bet he’s fully aware of the shit he does, how bad it is for people that listen to him and society as a whole, yet he keeps doing it. That’s evil.
