Absolutely not, as that would mean my company violates my country’s privacy laws. In my field of work there is no valid reason for wearing a body cam.

I seriously doubt if the radiation perv scanner doesn’t get people to do anything
You mean the backscatter X-ray units that have already been phased out 10 years ago?
The modern milimeter-wave scanners both do not reveal anything and do not use ionising radiation. If radiation is a concern to you, you really shouldn’t be flying at all to be honest. The dose you get up there is much higher than you’d get from an X-ray scanner, although it is still negligible.
Guns kept in a car usually aren’t required to be locked up if the car itself is locked.
Common sense requires it if there is a chance you’ll be leaving a toddler alone with it.
I completely agree that sex crimes cannot be tolerated. So, when can we expect those apologies for forcing women and girls into sexual slavery as ‘comfort women’ ? 🤔
Unreal only had a single Automag though, so either you are thinking of Unreal Tournament or you played on a modded server. Some servers did have dual automags (I’ve still got a mod and mutator lying around to get them in single player as well) and dual Automags (Enforcer in Unreal Tournament) did indeed dish out major punishment.
Yes, how could I forget Deus Ex. Incredible story and again such a wonderful soundtrack, not surprising as it was also composed Alexander Brandon, Michiel van den Bos, and Dan Gardopee.
As for Half-Life, that game was also something else. But part of me resents that game a bit because it overshadowed Unreal. 😋
The original Unreal. For me it was a perfect combination of beautiful graphics (back in the days of course) and a soundtrack which complemented and elevated the atmosphere of that game. And the gunplay was nice, with a collection of somewhat unconventional weapons. A relic from a time where developers were not afraid to experiment a bit.
Time to install FreeSpace Open again. 😄 For those who have managed to miss that project: it’s a completely rebuilt engine for FS2. Together with the MediaVPs from The FreeSpace Upgrade Project it makes the game look pretty modern again. Take a look at https://wiki.hard-light.net/index.php/Getting_started if you need instructions.
I believe even there is even a mod available which allows playing the first FreeSpace in FSO.
Yes, they can indeed be a problem for people with allergies. In my case dogs (and cats unfortunately) trigger respiratory issues. I had that issue at a workplace where dogs were allowed, not fun times. And unfortunately medication like antihistamines are not an option for everybody, personally I get extremely drowsy from them, even from the latest generation meds.
Nah. But I would recommend not trying to go for orange next you you try the vending machine. You might end up with lemon-lime.
Imagine being all worked up about books mentioning raging obscenities like ‘butt’ and ‘fart’, only to get slapped in the face by Judge ‘Wiener’. 😂
Thanks, I know my way around the high seas should the need arise. But I can’t play every game out there anyway, so as long as I can get my gaming needs satisfied through non-shittified legal means I prefer that.
Well, another game I won’t be playing in that case. Fortunately my backlog is large enough to keep me busy for the next couple of years, so I feel no need to play every new title. But still: my wallet thanks Sony for making the choice for me.
They took ‘woensdag gehaktdag’ (Wednesday Minced Meat day) a bit too literal. ☹️
Also keep in mind that the maximum number of monitors depend on the resolution(s) you want to use. Don’t expect to be able to have a monitor @ 4K in your chain for example. https://www.displayport.org/cables/driving-multiple-displays-from-a-single-displayport-output/ has a table with some examples of resolutions and the corresponding maximum number of monitors you can add to your chain.
Sony forced the studio behind Helldivers 2 to make a PSN account obligatory after the game launched. That’s a pretty crappy move because PSN is not available in roughly 120 177 countries, so if you live in one of those you can suddenly not play your game anymore. And Sony hasn’t got the best reputation when it comes to securing and selling their user’s data, so players are pretty upset and vocal about this.
But I would say that present day Sony’s dick moves do not really fit in a topic about PS2 nostalgia.
I’m not American, so I could be wrong, but wasn’t it something about a well-regulated militia?
Yeah, my comment was most definitely not meant to warn others against it. Just as a heads-up that it does not work for everyone. And if you do have adverse side effects like I did: it sucks, but keep in mind that it will pass.
Soulslike games only frustrate me immensely. I don’t mind a challenge, but when a game starts to feel more like work than hobby I’ll pass. So Elden Ring has never been on my wishlist, but I applaud those who have the motivation to git gud and persevere.
To each their own, research a bit before you buy something and accept that you might sometimes buy a game that doesn’t suit you. Mistakes and wrong decisions happen, that’s life.
