Northstar seems to be a 3d printable AR headset of sorts. I am intrigued, though need to research it more.
Thats correct- like many open source projects, it appears to have gone through one or more confusing name revisions. Nonetheless, the github page indicates that there’s been a push as recent as 3 months ago.

QuickTime doesn’t support some formats that are popular with that, but like the iPhone / iPad, devs can submit other media players to the App Store.
Vision Pro doesn’t even have a VLC port submitted to the App Store, but it also shipped less than a week ago.
It wouldn’t be a computer otherwise
