They just need to invest in H2Flow.
Some people just want to watch the world burn, and those people probably shouldn’t work at oil refineries .
The voters are the problem dude. Congress can take back this power any time they want. They won’t because their constituents don’t know how anything works, and they know that most of them won’t even take an electoral hit for their inaction on this.
There is no rule you can put in place in a democracy that can protect voters from themselves.
Probably, and I’ll denounce and blame them for this just the same. My moral compass is that copyright shouldn’t exist to begin with.
Cool but that issue is not in play here. That is not even close to a mainstream position and none of the actual players in this are working towards that outcome. Taking one side of this on that basis is silly.
He doesn’t have the balls to ask that question of Israel.
You should tell these companies then, because after pirating all the copyrighted information they will absolutely push for IP protections for AI output.
That deer probably wished for death long before it actually died.
45 percent is consistent with the cultural rot that is destroying America from within. America is still in material terms arguably the most gifted nation on earth. All the problems stem from cultural rot, and that has now manifest in political rot.
What you’re saying is true in general but it works pretty well and for a fairly long time in door hinges.
It’s worth noting that what you said is the only way this guy is going to get fired. Trump has literally zero intrinsic understanding of the issue. He doesn’t use computers or smartphones, probably has only a vague grasp of what an app or end-to-end encryption are, and no understanding of app security vs device security. He has literally no basis on which to understand any of this, and crucially, he won’t care to learn if someone explains it to him.
So yeah I have no doubt that he’s completely baffled by all of this and doesn’t really see how it affects him.
Hey, wooden sticks are a legit way to make life decisions. Source: Yojimbo.
Not a direct answer and this video is out of date with current events, but the background on the current state of El Salvador is worth knowing: https://youtu.be/WtkI-QAgM6w
“national security”. On Facebook. Okay guys. A better title would be "Zuck offered to completely legally sell their data (yes it’s their’s , read the ToS) to China in a completely legal bid to gain entry into China. It’s not even alleged that he broke any laws.
The real problem is that the US doesn’t have any digital data privacy laws, so ToSs for these services can contain whatever the host wants, and they can do whatever they want with the data. But that will never happen.
When you have government officials saying they want to default on the “risk free” bonds it undermines markets in a completely unprecedented way.
Shockingly stupid.
That last statement accurately describes the constituents of those government officials and large swathes if the American electorate. The fact that it’s politically viable to muse about these things is so fucking idiotic . So many Americans owe their safe and prosperous lives to things of which they are completely ignorant.
It still amazes me that all of those investors and endorsers were so dazzled by her sales pitch that nobody bothered to actually get confirmation of any of the technical details. They just believed…that’s it.
Someone somewhere is already asking whether a CEO’s job can be done by AI.
Gotham chess has a video of making chatgpt play chess against stockfish. Spoiler: chatgpt does not do well. It plays okay for a few moves but then the moment it gets in trouble it straight up cheats. Telling it to follow the rules of chess doesn’t help.
This sort of gets to the heart of LLM-based “AI”. That one example to me really shows that there’s no actual reasoning happening inside. It’s producing answers that statistically look like answers that might be given based on that input.
For some things it even works. But calling this intelligence is dubious at best.
