All of venom’s mass is already clearly pulled from the meat dimension, so what’s a little more for a glam rock tongue?
The issue is more the host’s dislocated jaw than the parasite tongue, I believe
I mean Venom is injured all the time in ways that would clearly impact a body within it. So either the host body goes full caterpillar-coccoon and is basically jelly while Venom is fully formed, or the host’s body becomes immune to injury/near fully regenerable, in which case Venom could wreck the host’s face without worry.

I always assumed that when he was full Venom it altered his physical body and when he showed his face the he purposely didn’t alter that part.
It’s fine, he’s built like a mid-00s CGI zombie.
