E3 Is dead for good after more than two decades of running::The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced the end of E3 for good.
Not surprising. Anyone would die from that much running.
Do we mark this as a Covid death?
It was already in bad health. That’s not a good combination with COVID.
Sad but not unexpected. It was a special time when E3 rolled around 10 years ago and I’ll remember it mostly fondly
“After more than two decades of serving as a central showcase for the video game industry, ESA has decided to end E3,” the statement reads.
Not just an opinion piece, for anyone wondering.
Everyone saw that coming
I didn’t. Was there something wrong?
Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation stopped showing up.
So they killed off the convention after it got better? This doesn’t track. ELI5
why’d they do that
